The Berlin Wall was one of the greatest enigmatic structures representing the Cold War and separating Berlin into an East and the West between 1961 and 1989. This concrete det’ohel’ divided families, limited the movement, and evolved to the embodiment of the political divide between East and West.

Cold War is a term that refers to the state of conflict, at political, economic or ideological level, between the Western and the Eastern superpowers from the end of the Second World War in 1945 to the early 1990s. The Fall of the Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall could no longer cope with these revolutions that were happening. On the 9th of November in the year 1989, government of East Germany made a new policy whereby people where allowed to travel to and from West Germany.
